BABY TALK - August, 19th, 2021
Special recognition to Dean and Judy Jarnac who celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at 1922 ON THE SQUARE last Saturday night. Dean and Judy had their first date at the Natoma Restaurant in 1970. On the table last Saturday was a framed picture from their wedding day in August of 1971. Judy was a lovely bride in 1971 and still is!
The re-opening of the Midland Theatre was a major success for all of downtown Newark. An excitement was in the air all evening long. The next big weekend is Friday September 10th when country music star Josh Turner performs at the Midland at 8pm. Saturday September 11th is the “Lite the Nite” cruise-in from Noon till Dark. We will open the Natoma Lounge at Noon on cruise-in Saturday with the Buckeyes against Oregon on the TV’s.
