Former Newark School superintendent Doug Ute claims he uses success as a stepping stone to greater success. He proved his point by being named executive director of the Ohio High School Athletic Association. We congratulate Doug and wish more success for him in his new position.

Oh Heck; we got all excited about the “Lite the Nite Car Show” last week; then at the last minute, it got canceled. Since we’re living in the pandemic era, we understand why this decision was made. But guess what, the weekend was still a great success at “1922 ON THE SQUARE”. We want to remind everyone that 1922 ON THE SQUARE continues to emphasize safety for all of our customers and employees. If you haven’t visited us yet, you can make a reservation by calling 740-915-6346 or make an online reservation here. Keep in mind that reservations are not required at 1922 ON THE SQUARE.

It was another disastrous start for the Cleveland Browns in a 38-6 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. The Browns coaching staff is showing they won’t stand this kind of performance by firing their placekicker who missed a field goal and extra point against the ravens. Just think; if the Browns had a good kicker they would only have lost by a score of 38-10!
